About Us
More Than a Pageant. A Movement.
Mrs. India, The Goddess wasn’t born from a desire to host a competition. It was born from a conviction, that the married women of India, women of extraordinary depth, beauty, and brilliance, deserve a stage as remarkable as they are. So we built one. Season after season, we have welcomed women from every corner of the country, each carrying her own story, her own strength, and her own unmistakable grace.
At its heart, Mrs. India, The Goddess is a celebration of the modern Indian woman in her fullest, most unapologetic form. A wife, a mother, a professional, a dreamer — she contains multitudes, and this platform exists to honour every single one of them. We believe that marriage is not the end of a woman’s personal journey. It is, in many ways, the beginning of her most powerful chapter.
This is not just about crowns. It is about confidence rediscovered, dreams reignited, and women stepping into the fullest version of themselves, boldly, beautifully, and unapologetically. Welcome to The Goddess. You were always meant to be here.

The People Behind the Goddess
Some ideas start in boardrooms. This one started with a feeling — that somewhere out there, millions of married women were living extraordinary lives, and nobody was giving them the stage they deserved. Madhukamal Motion Pictures decided to change that.
A passionate production house with deep roots in Bollywood, Madhukamal has always believed that the most powerful stories are the ones closest to real life. So when the idea for Mrs. India — The Goddess came to life, it wasn’t just a business decision. It was a calling. A chance to build something that actually matters, a platform where married women from every corner of India could walk in as themselves and walk out knowing their story is worth telling.
Three seasons in, that feeling hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s grown stronger. Because every woman who steps onto that stage reminds us exactly why we started.

Meet the Minds That Make the Magic

Meher Abhishek
Actor, Producer & Director, Madhukamal Motion Pictures
The Storyteller With a Vision
Raised in Kanpur and trained at Mumbai’s legendary Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute — the school that shaped some of Bollywood’s finest — Meher Abhishek arrived in the film world with something rare: genuine craft backed by relentless ambition.
He has worked alongside celebrated directors across Bollywood and South Indian cinema, produced short films, and created documentaries that move people. And now, he is helming an international biopic on the life of Mother Teresa — a project as grand and compassionate as the woman it honours.
Meher brings that same cinematic heart and storytelling instinct to Mrs. India — The Goddess Season 3. Because he knows, better than most, what it means to give an extraordinary story the stage it deserves.

Rushmi Dake
Mrs. Maharashtra Empress of Maharashtra & MD, Madhukamal Motion Pictures
She Didn’t Wait for Permission to Shine
An educator from Pune by profession, a runway force by destiny, Rushmi Dake’s journey is the kind that makes you believe in second acts. At 40+, she stepped into the world of pageantry and owned it completely, claiming the sub-title of Mrs. Top Model at Mrs. Maharashtra Empress of Maharashtra 2019.
She has walked for iconic brands and fashion houses, stopped the show at the Bollywood Fashion Walk, and been chosen as Calendar Girl by Lokmat, one of Maharashtra’s most beloved newspapers. As a fashion influencer and social activist, she has opened doors for countless women who never imagined the spotlight was meant for them.
And now, as MD of Madhukamal Motion Pictures, she brings that same unstoppable energy to Mrs. India, The Goddess Season 3, because who better to champion extraordinary women than a woman who refused to be ordinary?
